Privacy Policy

ZiZai (Beijing) Tech Co., Ltd ("we", "us") operates ZiZBJJ and Echo (together, the "Service"). This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.
This policy does not cover Lake2Ocean, which runs independently for enterprise customers — see its own site at lake2ocean.top for its privacy policy.
Please read this policy carefully before using the Service. Continued use of the Service means you accept the practices described here.
1. Scope and data controller
This policy covers ZiZBJJ and Echo. The data controller is ZiZai (Beijing) Tech Co., Ltd, reachable at cs@zizai.tech.
2. Our general principles
Product-specific details are in Appendix A (ZiZBJJ) and Appendix B (Echo) below.
- Local-first: whatever can live on your device, we try not to upload to a server.
- Minimal collection: we only collect what a feature actually needs, not what "might be useful later."
- No ad targeting: we don't use your usage data for third-party advertising, and we don't sell or rent your personal information.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect only to: provide and improve core product features; handle support requests you initiate (e.g. emailing us); and meet legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Storage and security
Locally stored data is protected by your device's own operating system. Where server-side storage is necessary (see the product appendices), we apply reasonable technical measures against unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.
5. Your rights
Under the PRC Personal Information Protection Law, you have the right to:
- Access and obtain a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- Request correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Request deletion of your personal information, where legally permitted;
- Withdraw any consent you previously gave.
6. Children’s privacy
ZiZBJJ is built for users who operate the product themselves, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 through it.
Echo involves recording moments related to a child — see Appendix B for exactly how that works. If you are a guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, contact cs@zizai.tech and we will verify and remove it promptly.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be flagged prominently on this page. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.

Appendix A: ZiZBJJ
A.1 What we collect
- Training logs, and technique-card progress/mastery data you create inside the app
- If you choose to leave contact details to be notified at launch, we collect the email address you provide
A.2 How it’s stored
Training and progress data is stored local-first, on your own device, by default. No account is required to use the product, and we never ask for your real name.
A.3 Your choices
You can clear app data on your device at any time. If you signed up for a launch notification email, you can email cs@zizai.tech to have it removed.
Appendix B: Echo
B.1 What we collect
- Setup info: your child's nickname and birth month (not a full birth date, and never your child's real name)
- Companionship logs: the observations you enter or tap to log inside "Today" / "Log"
- Optional photos, if you choose to attach one to a log entry
- In "My Childhood," reflections you (the parent or guardian) choose to write about your own upbringing
B.2 Who provides this information
Every piece of child-related information in Echo is entered by the parent or guardian using the product — to log a moment, generate a growth story, and so on — never collected directly from the child. We never ask or prompt a child to enter personal information themselves.
B.3 How it’s stored
Setup info, logs, reflections, and photos are stored on your device by default; we don't sync them to a server unless a feature genuinely requires it. If a future feature (such as cross-device sync) requires upload, we'll update this policy and tell you before it ships.
B.4 What we don’t do
- Use your child's information for ad targeting
- Show your logs in comparison against other children
- Invent or infer growth-story details beyond what you actually logged
- Sell or rent your child's personal information to anyone
B.5 Your choices
You can delete any log entry, any photo, or the entire child profile at any time. As the guardian, you have full access, correction, and deletion rights over information entered on your child’s behalf — see Section 5 above for how to exercise them.
