ZiZBJJ starts from a different premise — technique was never isolated to begin with. It's a network, connected by simple if-this-then-that logic: if your opponent does X, then you do Y. Echo isn't an early-education tool or a development tracker — most parent-child products assume you have a big block of time; Echo assumes you have a few minutes.
